I work as an artist, independent curator and researcher. I studied Painting at the San Francisco Art Institute. In this college trajectory, I became more interested in an academic approach. Thus, I finished my bachelors with an additional focus in History of Contemporary Art, developing a thesis on the evolution of the audiovisual aesthetics of reggaeton. Recently, I completed my master's degree in Contemporary Art Theory at Goldsmiths, University of London. Together with two peers, Amelie Wedel and Deniz Kirkali, we formed the curatorial and research collective topsoil and with Marta Melià, we started the curatorial project "a place that fosters us." I am currently based in San Jose, Costa Rica.
